If you’re looking for a perfect Christmas present for that special someone, why not get them a Honeys For Heroes 2012 calendar?
Please remember that 100% of the profit from each and every calendar is donated to Armed Forces charities – we all volunteer our team and effort, no-one takes a penny. Once we pay for the printing of the calendars, everything else is donated – no petrol expenses, no phone calls – nothing! In our opinion, it’s the only way to do it to help support or troops, don’t you agree?
To order yours, just click on the “The perfect Christmas present” banner above to go to the site.
The Honeys For Heroes will be helping our friends at Forcespride (www.forcespride.co.uk) at their stalls during the following events:
Armed Forces Day Parade, Edinburgh – Saturday June 25th
Armed Forces Day Parade, Glasgow – Sunday June 26th
Well, it had to happen – the Honeys For Heroes are finally on twitter! (although we had to use the number ‘4′ in our title as someone pinched our real name – and has done nothing with it) So, if you want to stay in touch, see what we’ve been up to, get sneak previews from shoots as well as find out where you can meet us, you’ll find us at the address on the link
We are delighted to be able to tell you that we have several new recruits who have recently had test-shoots for the team and you should see the ones who made it through! In fact, you will – very soon.
We will have an updated line-up to announce very shortly, so stay tuned for details.
Plus – the girls will be attending several high-profile events this sumer. We will post details on here, so feel free to come along and say ‘Hi’ to the Honeys!
After a very long wait, we are delighted to announce that we are now taking orders for the Honeys For heroes 2011 calendars. Each girl has her very own calendar, so you can have your favourite Honey on your wall all year round. But why stop at just one? There are a whole team of lovely ladies for you to choose from, so why not buy a couple? A blonde and a brunette, one for each wall, one for each room in the house, one for home and one for work, one for your Dad, one for your boss? The list is endless.
You can buy safe in the knowledge that every single penny of profit goes direct to the our nominated armed forces charities, including Help For Heroes. We pay the cost of printing and that’s it – no other costs at our end at all (apart from p&p, obviously).
Troops in Afghanistan qualify for free p&p – just enter the code “BFPO” when you order. Don’t worry if you don’t have a Paypal account as you can make a payment with your credit or debit card through Paypal – instructions are here:

I would like to apologise for the lack of updates over the last couple of weeks. As you are all aware, we have some new members of the team (11 girls in total now!) and we have been extremely busy getting everything sorted to ensure the calendars are just right (arranging shoots, editing photos etc.). So, over the next few days, I will be uploading a new gallery of each girls work as well as telling you a little bit more about them.
We have also had the privilege of attending the 1st Btn Scots Guards freedom march in Ayr on December 9th. This was quite an emotional day, as the girls were officially invited to meet the men and officers who they have supported during their recent tour of duty in Afghanistan and the girls were quite taken aback as soldiers thanked them, personally for the parcels and photos which they have sent. It also brought home to our team that we ARE making a difference to the guys who protect our country and our way of life and we plan to do so until there is peace and no longer any need for us – isn’t that what we all want? Due to the terrible weather we had, some of the girls couldn’t make it and the five who did were struggling through, but Parks LandRover dealership in Ayr came to the rescue with Range Rovers and Discovery 4’s! We have got to say a massive ‘Thanks’ to the team at Park’s for ensuring the Honeys made it through safely. Is it a coincidence that LandRovers get our troops on the go anywhere in the world and they also help our Honeys to support the troops back here? Again, we will have more shots of the day up on the site soon.
Thank you for all the enquiries about the Honeys 2011 calendars. We thank you for your patience while we get these ready and off to the printers. They will be ready for sale in the next few days and you can soon have your favourite girl on your wall 12 months of the year!
All the best
Kev
We have begun the difficult task of selecting the very best shots from our recent calendar shoot and hope to have them ready for sale within the next couple of weeks. The girls worked tirelessly through some very quick outfit changes in sub-zero temperatures and facing icy winds and they all performed admirably.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive THANK YOU to some of the men who made this possible:
Maj G Spence MBE, Capt G Dunning, Capt S Bridgehouse, WO2 C Gray, WO2 B Ward, Sgt E Wind MBE.
We would also like to thank the members of the Army Recruitment Team of Scotland, Scots Guards Recruitment Team, 3 Rifles (far too many here to name individually – but the PTI staff and boxing team were outstanding!) L/Cpl P Stewart and who could forget the two bodyguards who guarded the girls and looked after them so well throughout the day – ‘Tiger’ and ‘Trouble’ (as nicknamed by the lovely Cheryl) and so many others without whom this could never have happened.
Other special mention must go to Maj I Dalzel Job at the Guards Hotel in Edinburgh and Mr Steven Parker and all his staff at the Greyfriars Bobby bar in Edinburgh for showing the girls some wonderful hospitality after the shoot – the girls even managed to ’shake their cans’ and raise a few quid for our charities.
Once again, we thank you all.
We would like to say a massive ‘THANKS’ to everyone who voted for their favourite entrants in our online poll. The idea was that we would allow the top two blondes and top two brunettes to join the team.
Well, you know what they say about the best laid plans etc…
The results are in and in the blonde section there were two clear leaders from the start:
Danielle and Dawn
In the brunettes, however, the race was a little more interesting, with quite a few changes to the top slot. In the end, there were only 3 votes between 1st and 2nd place – and two girls had exactly the same number of votes in 2nd place! Well, who are we to argue with the poll? So, your other new additions to the Honeys For Heroes are:
Jennifer, Stephanie and Lisa!
Well done girls, welcome aboard. We look forward to seeing you all at the calendar shoot on November 26th
We’ve finally managed to select 20 finalists from the HUGE number of entries to be part of the Honeys For Heroes (including taking part in our 2011 calendar shoot on November 26th!) We have divided the girls into two categories – Blondes and Brunettes. As a registered member of the forum, you can cast one vote in each poll – 1 blonde, 1 brunette, but the voting closes at 11pm on November 11th (11/11/11 )So, if you want to see your favourite girl in her very own 2011 Honeys For Heroes calendar (remember, she will be on every single page!) the only way to help is to get your vote in. Thanks
Kev
We are now recruiting for new additions to the Honeys For Heroes! If you (or someone you know) would like to apply to join, we need you to send three photos no later than 31st October 2010 to:
kevin@honeysforheroes.co.uk
We require 1 x head shot, 1 x 3/4 length shot and 1 x full length shot (preferably swimwear/ exercise-wear or lingerie). Please note, we will NOT accept heavily airbrushed images – we need to see the real you. All new applicants will be viewed by our management team and the final entrants will be showcased on the forum, where the winner will be chosen by an online poll.
If you want to apply, you MUST be available to shoot for our 2011 calendars (yes, that means you will have your very own one!) on Friday November 26th 2010 in the Lothian and Borders area of Scotland and you will need 13 different outfits for the day. The day-long shoot will be held inside a top-secret military base, therefore the exact location will only be revealed to the successful candidate closer to the time. In addition, successful Honeys are asked to attend as many fund-raisers as possible, as well as updating their blog on a regular basis with news and photos. Please remember, the Honeys For Heroes are here to help boost the morale of our troops and, whilst we appreciate that this is a voluntary organisation, we do take it very seriously.
All images shot during any Honeys For Heroes events, by our photographers, remains the copyright of the individual photographer, although you will receive copies to use for your own modeling portfolio as well.
Thank you and good luck!
